About

February 2nd, 2009

You may be surprised to learn this (hopefully not) but this is a website about journalism in the state of Denmark — written in English to make sure that all you potential readers in the rest of the world can follow, comment and talk with us.

The main inspiration for this site is Journalism.co.uk which offers (among other things) news, tips and tricks within the field of journalism. We felt that a similar site was needed promoting, announcing and denouncing (!) journalism here in Denmark.

So what is this site all about?
On this site you'll find columns (it's more a column than a blog) regarding the development of journalism and new media in particular in Denmark, news articles when something happens that we want to share with you and maybe even a tip or two if we found out how to do something in a smarter/neater/faster or maybe even better way.

Please note that this text is written with a certain amount of that well known Danish sarcasm. We are serious people who love our field of work. We would like to share that love with you.

This blog is a great idea. Looking forward to spend some time here.

But… perhaps you should introduce the people behind? Perhaps even here on the "About" page…;)
